Favorite Quotes:
Suddenly, all hell seemed to break loose, reminiscent of the weeping and wailing of biblical times.
‘I’ve brought a couple of nice bottles of wine to take the edge off,’ he said, before hastily correcting himself. ‘I mean, to have with the meal.’
My Review:
Chaos and disorder appear to be the norm when the Scott family gathers, Laura wasn’t thinking straight when she invited her new boyfriend to Christmas Brunch, as if the first time he dined with them hadn’t been traumatic enough to do the trick. Delightful and wry humor rippled and wafted from my Kindle, I was delighted, entranced, and laughing aloud at the mayhem and quirky characters. More, please Ms. Paull!
