WWW Wednesdays: July 10, 2013 8

WWW Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading
  • What do you think youโ€™ll read next?

WWW Wednesday for this week:

The Hunger Games What are you currently reading?
I’m reading ‘The Hunger Games‘ by Suzanne Collins. I don’t know why I just started reading it now. It’s really good and definitely better than the movie!

Remember Me?

I’m also reading ‘Remember Me?’ by Sophie Kinsella to balance out the heaviness of The Hunger Games. I’m really enjoying reading it and I find myself grinning and squealing by myself at times!

The Program

I just signed up on Audible and got a free book for signing up and a month trial. I chose ‘The Program‘ by Suzanne Young. It was weird at first but I’m getting used to listening to an audiobook now and I’m actually loving it! Thank god I tried it!

Into the FireWhat did you recently finish reading?
I just finished reading ‘Into the Fire’ by K. Gormanย for a book tour review today. You should check out my review, the character bio, a guest post by K. Gorman about tips for becoming a better writer, and the giveaway!

Wuthering HighWhat do you think you’ll read next?
I’m going to start reading ‘Wuthering High‘ by Cara Lockwoodย for a pick-it-for-me challenge. It sounds interesting and I like the challenge of reading something I haven’t even heard of.

POST the link to your own WWW Wednesdays for the week on the comments below or just post your actual answer if you want.

I’m glad you’re liking The Hunger Games ๐Ÿ˜€ Even though the movie wasn’t as good, I am still really excited about Catching Fire later this year!
I really want to read The Program, as well!

I’m getting excited about the movie, too! ๐Ÿ™‚ I never thought I’d ever say that, ha ha!

Just a tip: Don’t listen to the audiobook of The Program. It’s an awesome audiobook and I’m really loving it but I should have just read it. The narrator is really good and I feel every emotion of the characters, which is most of the time depressed. So I get depressed, too!

      Yay! ๐Ÿ˜€
I have never listened to an audiobook, ever. I don’t think I would be able to concentrate on the words, haha.
Being depressed is not so great! ๐Ÿ˜›

You should give it a try. There’s a free month trial where you get to download any one book you can listen to. They also have samples so you can listen to a few minutes clip before you decide to choose. I always thought I wouldn’t like it but now I think there are some books that are better listening to than reading. ๐Ÿ™‚

I don’t even know why I just signed up for an account now. I wish I tried it sooner. ๐Ÿ™‚

I just finished the first two Morganville Vampire books (it was one volume), I’m currently reading Something Strange and Deadly, and I think I’m reading The 100 by Kass Morgan next. I recently signed up for Audible.com as well so I could listen to a book only available in Australia, and I don’t think I’m going to keep it. It just took so much longer than it would take me to read it and I tended to zone out a bit. But I read The Program and really liked it! I like this meme, I think we’ll officially participate next week!

I liked Something Strange and Deadly a lot! ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope you’re enjoying it, too. I agree that listening can be quite slow that’s why I sped the narration up to x2. It’s the perfect speed for me. ๐Ÿ™‚
