LAST DAY! Woohoo! We made it! Although, I’m quite sad it’s the last day. Farzy from Books Keep Me Sane has been one of my close blogger friends since I started blogging is co-hosting this read-a-thon event with Francine from Always Lost in Books. If you want to join in and participate in the fun, you can click this link. There’s a lot of prizes, awesome challenges, and other fun and exciting stuff you wouldn’t want to miss!
Day Six Accomplishment
I read Fading by E.K. Blair yesterday. And we have another awesome book! I’m really happy I read this one. This has mature subjects and heartbreaking parts. Only read it if you’re ready and you have a box of tissue right by your side.
For today’s participation post, I’m supposed to talk about how I’m doing. Last day of DDD Read-a-thon! We drove to my mom’s house today. We’re spending the night here. It’s been a while since I last saw her so I thought it would be nice to spend some time with her before we go to BC for Christmas. It was just a two-hour drive but I just read a book the whole way, ha ha!
Watch out tomorrow for the Week Wrap Up of DDD Read-a-thon and an update on what I read for Day 7!
I don’t know a lot of people who actually read books. Probably just my sister and two of my closest friends. That’s also one of the reasons why I started a book blog – so I can meet people online whom I can talk to about books.
For my sister, I’ve been recommending The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon. I might buy her a hardbound since it was on sale the last time I was in the bookstore or maybe I can lend her my Kindle copy just to see if she’ll like it (although I already know she will).
ReVamped by Ada Adams for Bonnie, a friend of mine who loves vampires! I’m sure she’s gonna fall in love with the Dawn, the main character, and the series! She’s just so addicted to vampires and the likes.
