Day Five Accomplishment
I read Unteachable by Leah Raeder yesterday. Why did I just read this yesterday? Nobody told me it was awesome! Well actually I read a few reviews but kept on putting it off and putting it off. I loved this book! I definitely need to post a review on it soon.
For today’s participation post, I’m supposed to talk about how I’m doing. Gotta love Friday!!! I spent my day putting plastic sheets on my windows for added insulation. It will help bring down my heating bill this winter. It was the first time I did it so it took me a while to figure out how to do it. It all worked out good though.
I also did a bit of cleaning and housework. I cleaned my kitchen and all the bathrooms. I was going to do the laundry, too, but didn’t. I don’t know why I hate doing the laundry so much when all I really do is sort them out then put them in the washer and dryer. I guess it’s the folding and hanging them after that I hate doing.
I also did a bunch of research for my homework and a lot of reading. I have a quiz in two days so I’m trying to get everything else out of the way so I can just focus on reviewing. Wish me luck!
You did not just ask me this! This will take me forever trying to figure out who makes the cut and who doesn’t. I should just choose my top five I guess and the reason why. This is in no particular order.
Acheron from Acheron. Despite everything he’s been through – the betrayal, pain, torture, abuse, suffering – and everything else that has happened to him, he was still able to care and love. To open your heart, be vulnerable, trust, and let someone into your life again takes a lot of courage. I admire that most about him.
Warden from The Bone Season is one of the characters I absolutely love! He was one of those characters that you learn to love as you read more and more. The more you read about him and Paige, you start to see how caring and dependable he was. He was more humane than most of the characters in the book. He was self-sacrificing and strong. He was beautiful.
Who doesn’t drool when they think about Damon from The Vampire Diaries series? I’m head over heels crazy about Damon. There are times that I wish I can pluck him out from the book and make him my slave boyfriend forever, ha ha! I’ll literally get myself in trouble on purpose so he can save me. Ooh I’ll play damsel in distress any time. *wink wink*
A from Every Day. I loved his devotion and maturity. Enough said.
I can’t forget about Robert of A Girl Like You. I can be him flatmate! I wouldn’t mind having him walking around the house all day long. “Always leave them before they leave you.” I like how he thinks!
