Ellie Shaw has a new job, a new home and a new lease on life – compliments of her cheating ex. Refusing to look back, she’s ready to put her time and focus on helping couples celebrate their happily ever after’s with a new position with Barefoot Brides. Just because she didn’t get her happy ending, doesn’t mean she’s given up on love. Unfortunately, one of the first couple’s she’s up to work with is her ex and the woman he cheated on her with!

Max Santos knows every inch of the Casa Blanca Resort & Spa property like the back of his hand – basically because he’s the one responsible for it all. He loves his job. Loves his life on Mimosa Key but…he’s in a rut. Work has become his life and he’s almost desperate for something to come along and shake up his world a little bit. And when Ellie shows up in one of his equipment sheds cursing like a sailor while she’s clearly hiding out, his curiosity is instantly piqued. Soon, he’s helping her in the craziest – and sexiest – game of hide and seek all over Casa Blanca!

Ellie knows she’ll never be able to truly move forward until she confronts her ex, but doing that means she won’t have any excuses to keep ‘running’ into Max. She thinks it’s too soon to start thinking about a future with him, but Max keeps proving time and time again that he’ll be there for her. And while Ellie’s been hiding from her past, Max has been anxiously seeking their future – their forever.

Seeking Forever is part of Roxanne St. Claire’s Barefoot Bay Kindle World

Favorite Quotes:

Ellie found the whole thing a little disenchanting.   Weddings were supposed to be a beautiful event – a happy event – and yet the business end it was totally… not.

Monica… It’s so nice to see you standing upright.   And with pants on… Nice to see ou could get off your back for a little while and see how… classy people live.

Ellie Shaw, I love you. And if I have to say it all day, every day for the rest of our lives, then that’s what I’ll do.

My Review:

Seeking Forever was a cute, sweet, quick, adorable, and amusing read. I enjoyed the humor, premise, and fun storyline. Ellie starts a dream job, only to find one her cheating ex to be among the companies new clients during an extremely awkward and eventful first day on the job, which also included running into her high school crush. Was it all coincidence, providence, or was she simply cursed? Ellie and Max were a cute and fun couple, I hope I get to see more of them someday.   I adore Samantha Chase’s sense of humor and fun and sexy stories.

 About the Authorsamantha Chase

New York Times and USA Today Bestseller/contemporary romance writer Samantha Chase released her debut novel, Jordan’s Return, in November 2011. Although she waited until she was in her 40’s to publish for the first time, writing has been a lifelong passion. Her motivation to take that step was her students: teaching creative writing to elementary age students all the way up through high school and encouraging those students to follow their writing dreams gave Samantha the confidence to take that step as well.

When she’s not working on a new story, she spends her time reading contemporary romances, playing way too many games of Scrabble or Solitaire on Facebook and spending time with her husband of 25 years and their two sons in North Carolina
