The Truth About Love Vol II
by Anna Bloom
Cherry Donaldson goes through dates like some women go through coffee. So when she find herself in need of a temporary roommate, saying yes to the gorgeous guy—even if he’s not her usual type—is a bad idea. A very bad idea.
The last thing she expects is to fall into a friendship with Jared. But he makes it so easy. And before she knows it, the lines blur and his annoying habits become just a little bit charming.
Will Cherry break her own rules to take a chance on the guy she now calls a friend, or is The Truth About Love too much to bear?
Since Eve cleaned it I have tried to stay on top of the grime situation. I was kinda hoping that my new flatmate would be into cleaning, but looking at Jared with his mud-covered boots and scruffy clothes, I’m not sure my new flatmate even likes to clean himself. Great, I’m going to live with a smelly boy.
I adored the humor, storyline, and characters of this delightfully written tale and was well entertained from beginning to end. I am hopelessly addicted to this series and want to bribe the talented Ms. Bloom with an altar of her favorite chocolates to finish it quickly. It was a quick, well-paced, and amusing read that generally kept a smirk in place as I read. Cherry was a serial dater who never a second date. The last guy she dated more than once had cheated on her, so, that was not happening again. After her roommate’s sudden departure to care for her ailing mother, Cherry needed a temporary roommate to help with the rent and a “smelly boy” was the only one to respond to her ad. He was a loathsome roommate for several weeks but suddenly he cleaned up rather nicely, too nicely. Cherry was forced to distract herself from thinking about his beautiful sculpted abs by thinking of something awful. I am more than eager for Volume III. Hurry Ms. Bloom!
