Fatal Affair was a well-written and excellently paced story full of intrigue, secrets, misdirection, humor, clever banter, a tender romance, a murder mystery, smart and interesting characters, drama, steamy sensual scenes, and a feisty heroine – I’ve hit nirvana! I adore these characters and could never tire of their clever banter and interactions. I also highly enjoyed the combination of Sam and her police partner Freddie and how their interchanges while they played off each other while interviewing suspects. Color me impressed. I have a new favorite author. I want to park myself on her listing and stay there for a month or more…
