Title: Always the Quiet Ones

Author: Cassandra Carr

Published November 18th 2014 by C-Squared Publishing

King of the geeks Marty Johnston has a serious crush on his co-worker Elizabeth. The principal IT consultant wants more than just a flirtation, but guilt over a one-night-stand-but-maybe-more Marty had on his last business trip before meeting Elizabeth could cost him his big chance with the girl of his dreams. He’s comfortable dealing with computers, not people. Can he step way outside his comfort zone to sort things out, or will he lose the one he’s falling for?

Favorite Quotes:

“Girls like her weren’t interested in guys like him.  Who would want a total geek like him?  Sure, he had a fancy title, but that just made him a supreme geek rather than a lowly geek.  Yep, the girls flock for a piece of that action.”

“He bent his head very slowly and gauged her reaction.  She didn’t cover her mouth or knee him in the gonads, which he took for a good sign.”

My Review:

A funny and quick little novella that is actually realistic for a somewhat naughty little tale.  The main male character is not an Adonis with the perfect 6 pack, bulging biceps, or gigantic/large penis.  I haven’t read a book with a normal looking man with an average sized sacred member in years!   After a dry spell, our man gets lucky twice in one week, much to his surprise.   There were humorous little comments, insightful inner musings, and a few hot little scenarios that bring a smile to my lips.  Easy to finish during a lunch break if you’d like to add a little zing to your meal.

She thinks the best part of being a writer is how she writes about love and sex while most others struggle with daily commutes, micro-managing bosses and cranky co-workers. Her inspiration comes from everywhere, but she’d particularly like to thank the Buffalo Sabres, the hockey team near and dear to her heart.
