2018 Reading Challenge 4

IT IS ON!

Empress DJ has joined the 2018 AtoZ Reading Challenge hosted by

Ginger Mom

During the year of 2018, I have pledged to read at least one book that begins with each letter of the alphabet – sounds easy, but I may have a problem with Z with my aversion to those dreaded zombies – so keep your eyes peeled for me for those more exotic and troublesome letters.

Want to join in?  The challenge is open to readers, authors, and generally anyone with a pulse and basic literacy skills.

You can read all about it and decide for yourself on this Ginger Mom blog page.

Why bother you ask?  Well, you would most likely read at least 26 books anyway and there is a chance you could win something in addition to your reading enjoyment – and just to prove my mother wrong to say that reading fiction was a waste of time – there is a Grand Prize entry at the end of the year for those who successfully complete the challenge, which, rumor is, will be a $100 Amazon gift card.

I’m feeling the peer pressure to join this.

I’ve not done anything like this before, just the yearly Goodreads Challenge. We can help each other out by watching for those hard letters 😉

Oh, Terri, I hope that’s not a bad thing 🙁 This is going to be a super fun challenge! And I am already making multiple TBRs so if you decide to join and need recommendations, hit me up!

No rumor for that giveaway 🙂 And finally, someone who shares about the giveaway lol. Only one thing I want to add – you don’t have to read a book for every letter to be entered into the giveaway. You only have to link up ONE review to be entered (of course, it’s a numbers game so the more reviews, the more chances!). Hope you enjoy it!!
